Lets play with color!
If you haven’t already guessed, I love color in my makeup. I’ve always been that way. When I was first introduced to makeup, I wanted to wear blue mascara instead of black and nude lipstick made no sense to me. I wondered why anyone would want to wear a lipstick the same color as their lips. I know for many others, wearing a lot of color can be intimidating f0r multiple reasons.
For one, neutral tones are always much easier to deal with. Its simple and it doesn’t give off the vibe that you’re trying to do too much. I’ll admit, I’ve been guilty of not wearing a certain makeup look because I don’t want it to seem like I’m trying to draw attention to myself. At the same time, I say, screw that and do what you want. I totally understand that it can be hard to break out of that comfortable bubble. If you’ve ever thought to yourself, “I wish I could pull that off/do that.” You can! It might look horrible at first but just keep practicing. With all that being said, I hope you find this tutorial helpful and that you try it out!
*Also, I’m sorry if I’m a little more low energy than normal. I started my first week back at school and it was a huge adjustment.
