Valentine’s Day Inspired Makeup Look

Tutorials

Hey Loves!

I know I’ve been MIA but I needed some time to get adjusted with my new school schedule. Im not 100% there yet, but I am feeling a bit more on track. Now that I’m back, I thought I’d hit you guys with something within the pink and red family since Valentine’s Day is almost here. While my boyfriend and I don’t actually celebrate Valentine’s Day, I know that many others love getting all dolled & going out. As for us, we’ll be at home in our sweats, catching up on all of our shows.

This look is perfect if you’re looking for something a little extra but isn’t too glam. (If such a thing exists.) When Valentine’s Day comes around, I know that some tend to feel excluded but don’t be! This can be worn any time, plus Valentine’s Day is a little overrated, if you ask me. I wanted to create something wearable for whenever you’re in the mood for something pink and shimmery. If you prefer something a little more dramatic, this would also pair really nicely with a dark red vampy lip.

Either way, I hope you enjoy this tutorial and I’d love to see it if you recreate the look. Tag me on Instagram @hellahighlight if you do!

Happy Valentine’s Day! <3

 Products Used:

Brows:

Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade

Eyes:

Forever21 eye shadow primer

Makeup Geek eyeshadow in “Wildfire”

KathleenlightsxMorphe Palette

**I prefer to use colors that I already have within a palette rather than buying a single shadow for a tutorial. In case you aren’t interest in this palette you can also check out other individual Morphe eye shadows here. They’re so affordable! “Secretive” seems like a good dupe for the darker pink, but is slightly redder. There doesn’t appear to be an individual shadow for the lighter pink but Makeup Geek has a shade sorta similar, but not quite in “Petal Pusher” .
